 Cars As a Standard of Living


If we see a century ago cars were very rare and only used and kept as a mode of transportation for humans to travel from one place to another. As the advancement in technology in the world, cars are also adapting to so many futuristic changes that humans used to only think of. Nowadays cars are seen as luxury items and it is used as the status for the person. The technology and advancement in cars make the person so relaxing and entertaining that a person cannot bear a minute without these features and advancements. Just to take the example we talk about the new range rovers lineup, All the new range rovers are equipped with the sensors which allow the drivers to take rest and keep them relaxed on long journeys by adjusting the acceleration and handling by itself. World also sees the class of the cars they own like Rolls Royes and Benleys are used as the sign luxuries. Lamborghinis and ferraris are used as the sign of young and passionate individuals, and in the Middle east Toyota Corolla or Honda are used as Cab services for the passengers there in the country.  By keeping this mind set people have adapt the change in their circle and classes as a status of symbol now people are using the cars. The different manufacturers are also trying to keep this strategy to apply on their products which attracts the consumers towards which they call this a innovation. For the sake of luxury the manufacturers and different companies with the help of their engineers and designer try to innovate more and more to meet their customers wants. Basic need for the customers is to get a form of transport which is being provided by any car but want of the consumers are unlimited and cannot be meet fully but manufacturers and companies try to make their wants possible as much as they can. They innovations mostly are in the cars sensing, engines, seats, safety and efficiency. The top luxury brand which is ruling in the world right now is Rolls Royce because they form  luxury according to their consumer. They make their cars on order for their specific customers and try to fulfill all their desires which can be used as a status of symbol for him. Also the bentley is one of the brand which follow this strategy for their customers. On one level below the three manufacturers Audi, Mercedes and BMW are the most common competitors of each other in different classes of cars. All these three companies have three types cars of different classes to compete with each others in the form of luxury, power and maintenance. It is upto consumer which is going to adapt which brand according to their need and wants but these manufacturers always try to compete with each other on every new model they large. These Germans brands have luxury mindsets which is being followed by their consumers. Rolls royce special target the luxury families of kings and queens like in United kingdom they always uses rolls royce because it now being used as their status of symbol in luxury. The other manufacturers I wrote above try to target the businessmen of the market to use their luxury vehicles as their symbol of status in markets.
